A series of sculptures that invites reflection on how individual experiences contribute to the collective human experience.
A short film that distills the delicate essence of my drawing series Image of A Memory into a poetic exploration of how recollections evolve over time.
This series of drawings explores memory as a fluid and evolving process, shaped by emotions and perspective rather than precise accuracy.
The installation invites participants to experience a journey from darkness to light. As they move through its shifting color spectrum, the experience unfolds uniquely for each individual. Layer by layer, the colors guide you toward the core—a place of warmth and illumination.
This exhibition explores a continuous flow of impulses that never reaches completion.
This series of 500 pencil drawings symbolizes the discomfort of being oneself in public, with a ghost figure to represent a lighter perspective.

Our planet weighing an immense 5,972E24 kilograms, provides a stable foundation for all life. This physical weight remains constant and unchanging over time. In contrast, each individual carries an emotional weight—comprising personal experiences, responsibilities, and feelings—that fluctuates throughout their life. These individual burdens vary, creating a dynamic collective weight that reflects the times we live through.
Based on this reflection, a series of 44 sculptures where created, each representing a year leading up to the artist's birth in 1978. Through color and form these pieces translate significant moments from the artist's personal life. The pitch black spheres and ropes symbolize the figurative burdens we all carry, grounding abstract emotions in tangible forms.
This series invites reflection on how individual experiences contribute to the collective human experience. While the Earth's physical weight is a constant, the emotional weight shared among people is ever-changing, shaped by connections and the times navigated together. By examining these sculptures, viewers are encouraged to consider their own burdens and recognize the collective effort required to maintain the delicate balance of our shared existence.
The sculptures where brought to life in the form of motion that we used for the campaign of Down the Rabbit Hole festival. The concept of the work resonated strongly with the sentiments that lived in society at the time, making it a perfect fit. The project earned a nomination for the 2022 Dutch Design Awards.
